BACCHUS Constitution for Millikin University:
Preamble: We do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution for BACCHUS on behalf of the students, faculty, administrators, and staff of Millikin University in order to provide primary prevention efforts to help alleviate the problem of alcohol misuse and abuse on campus: to promote responsible decisions about drinking within the campus community; to help educate and inform students, faculty, administrators, and staff about health issues that affect the campus community, including alcohol use, abuse and misuse, AIDS, and sexual assault; to increase awareness concerning healthy alternatives to alcohol misuse and abuse; and to enhance communication within the academic community regarding health-related matters. GAMMA Constitution for Southwest Texas State University:
Preamble: This organization shall be known as GAMMA. (Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol) The members of GAMMA believe that fraternity and sorority members can play a uniquely effective role, unmatched by professional educators, in encouraging their peers to consider, talk honestly about, and develop resonsible habits and attitudes twoard the use or non-use of alcohol and other drugs. Preamble: In order to provide primary prevention efforts to help alleviate the problem of alcohol misuse and abuse on campus; to promote responsible decisions about drinking within the campus community; to help educate and inform students, faculty, administrators, and staff about alcohol use, misuse, and abuse; to help facilitate alcohol-related research; to increase awareness concerning healthy alternatives to alcohol misuse and abuse; and to enhance communication within the academic community regarding alcohol-related matters; we do hereby ordain and establish this Constitution for BACCHUS on behalf of the people of the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
