Peer Theater Scripts The
BACCHUS Network™ has many peer theatre scripts available
on a number of educational topics. The scripts range in length
and format. There are four full-length scripts covering issues
such as sexual assault, new student orientation and healthy
relationships. BACCHUS also offers "Reader's Theatre"
sold as a stand alone script or as part of "An Orientation
in Four Acts." Many of the individual scripts are included
in full-length scripts, though they are available to buy separately.
Each script is noted if it is included within one of the full-length
scripts. Also, there are many special Critical Issues Monologues
available at a lower price. To order any of these scripts,
download and fill out the order form and mail or fax it to
The BACCHUS Network™ national office. If you have any
questions about these scripts, contact David Hellstrom, Manager
of The BACCHUS Materials Center, at (952) 920-8999 or e-mail
at david@bacchusnetwork.org.
What do you get when you buy a script?
Peer Theatre Basics/Facilitation
Ideas
Each script comes with an overview of making the transition
from "general" theatre to "educational theatre."
Included in these pages are thoughts for those directors who
are just beginning, and as well as ideas for generating discussion
and facilitating learning after the presentation.
Director's Copy of Script
Every script comes with the Director's copy, with ideas for
staging and directing in the form of script notes that do
not appear on the actor's script.
Actor's Copy
This version can be copied for the actors in the piece.
Additional Actor's Copies
Campuses receive enough additional copies for each of the
main characters in the individual scripts.
A Note About Copyright
Each of these scripts are copyrighted by the authors and The
BACCHUS Network™. When you purchase a script, you purchase
the rights to perform that script. You do not receive permission
to sell or give away the script to other people or other campuses.
The BACCHUS Network™ will be aggressive about following
up with any copyright infringement.
Preview Policy
Campuses that need to preview scripts can do so by signing
a letter of agreement. Please contact David Hellstrom directly
to begin that process.
