The BACCHUS Network Awards
Each year our organization honors some
of the best work in the health and safety arena on college
and university campuses. We know that there must be at least
two or three programs that you have presented this year
that were successful. In addition, your campus probably
has several students or an advisor that exemplify the word
leadership. And equally deserving, there are hundreds of
very active peer education groups that provide outstanding
health and safety programs year round. Whether it's an opportunity
to honor a particular event, an individual, or a peer education
group effort—you can make sure that talent and creativity
are celebrated.
The awards banquet at our annual conference
is where we recognize students, professionals, and affiliate
groups who have made outstanding contributions in the previous
year. We hope that you are making plans to attend, but please
be aware that BACCHUS affiliates NEED NOT BE PRESENT AT
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO WIN AN AWARD.
All nominations must be affiliated campuses
on record with BACCHUS Headquarters. This flyer contains
all of the information needed to apply. Read on for the
descriptions and submission requirements.
DEADLINE: Award Applications must be
emailed by Friday, October 13, 2006

New in 2006
Award winners from the previous year who apply this year

go to colleges and universities that have not won in the
past year.
Only two photographs of events, copies
of ads or articles from local and campus media may accompany
the program submission. (JPEG format only). For all of the
group program awards, we are looking for events, activities,
and peer education teams that exhibit creativity and success.
Their efforts should motivate and educate the student body

of empowering students to positively influence their peers.

who meet the criteria for either of these awards, please
consider taking the time to nominate them.
