BY-LAWS OF THE BACCHUS NETWORK

ARTICLE VIII. ELECTIONS

Section 1. Based upon recommendations put forth by the Nominating Committee, each non-student member of the BACCHUS Board of Trustees shall be elected for two-year terms by majority vote of the current Board of Trustees.

Section 2. Two Student Trustees shall be elected at each convocation of the General Assembly to serve for one-year terms.

Section 3. Election shall be by written ballot during the Delegates Meeting at a time and place to be announced when the General Assembly is convened.

Section 4. Each duly organized BACCHUS affiliate in good standing shall be entitled to one vote to be cast by the designated delegate of that affiliate at the General Assembly.

Section 5. In the event that no candidate receives a simple majority of the votes for any office, there shall be a runoff election between the two candidates receiving the greatest number of votes.
