BY-LAWS OF THE BACCHUS NETWORK

ARTICLE VII. NOMINATIONS

Section 1. The Board of Trustees shall, at least three months prior to each General Assembly, designate a Nominating Committee consisting of a minimum of three persons including a chairperson, one of the Student Trustees and another member of the Board of Trustees.

Section 2. The Nominating Committee shall prepare a second slate giving the name and qualification of one candidate for each position other than the officers or student Trustees to be filled at the next Board Meeting.

Section 3. Nominations may also be made by a written petition signed by one-third of the BACCHUS affiliates, after written consent of the nominee has been obtained, which petition and consent must be received by the Secretary of BACCHUS at least ten days prior to the General Assembly. Those nominations shall be include on the ballot.
